Dr Jane Wilson is a company director with a background in banking, finance and medicine and has over 20 years experience in corporate governance and business strategy across a number of different industry sectors.
Jane was appointed a director of CathRx Ltd in 2005 and is chairman of the Audit & Risk Management Committee. She is chairman of IMBcom (Institute for Molecular Bioscience commercialisation company at University of Queensland), and a director of Sonic Healthcare Ltd and Universal Biosensors Ltd. Jane also holds directorships at The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, General Sir John Monash Foundation, Union College (UQ), Churchie Foundation Board and Barambah Wines. She is a member of the University of Queensland Senate, IMB Advisory Board, AICD Advisory Panel and Yalari Advisory Board.
Jane is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and from 2002 to 2004 served as a director of AICD and as Queensland Division President. Jane has previously served as a director of Energex Ltd, AGEN Biomedical Ltd, WorkCover Queensland, UQ Holdings Ltd and the National Archives of Australia Advisory Board. From 2000 to 2004, she was inaugural chairman of Horticulture Australia Ltd and a Member of the Rural Research & Development Corporations Group.
Jane commenced her career as a doctor, working in hospitals in both Australia and the UK. After completing a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, she worked for Macquarie Bank and Wilson HTM Investment Group.
